No real weekend update because I had a very low-key weekend. I saw my best friend and my family in Temple Friday night and Saturday day. Here I would like to insert an Ode to Casa Ole. I ate there twice in the day and a half I was in Temple. I love Casa Ole. There is probably fancier Tex-Mex food elsewhere. But, there is no restaurant where I love the queso, chips, food, dessert and margaritas equally. And, at no other place can you have an entire meal, including 2 margaritas for under $10. We’re talking $1.49 margaritas, people—THREE days a week! All day! Including Saturday! Including Blue Curacao margaritas! End of Ode.
Saturday night and Sunday I spent with Perry, who is sick. Let’s suffice it to say I will probably be sick soon also. I dragged him downtown Saturday night with Steph and Bryan and David, a friend of Bryan’s. Here I would like to insert a lament that I think Bryan thinks I’m the craziest person on earth. The first time I really spent any time around him, I was in a totally spastic mood, saying things before thinking about them, (Do tents have bottoms? Is that football in the tree?) leaving even my own friends speechless. The second time, we were downtown and I was sick, and therefore in a very bad mood. I complained most of the night, culminating in loudly yelling about wanting to leave, a scenario that Bryan denies remembering, but I think he’s lying. Anyway, this past Saturday was the third time, again downtown. Perry was sick and not too perky, I wasn’t in the greatest of moods myself and I was just being weird. Stephanie, does Bryan think I’m completely loopy? Don’t lie, because even if you say no, I’ll know the truth :)
